Take out life is strong in 2020. 

That being said, I need to rant for a quick minute. I need for restaurants to step their game up. As big advocate of small business, so I put my little teacher salary hard-earned money into some good food. However, sometimes my gears have been grinded by how I receive food. For example:  

  1. Why is my food always soggy? There’s got to be a way to make onion rings not be soggy by time I get home. Right? Now recently a place told us to keep the bag open, so the steam won’t make the food soggy and suck. It did work, but I need to test this theory out some more. The soggy thing makes me GRRRR.

  2. I feel like I get shorted/skimped  on dishes from places that I regularly go to. Now that just makes me sad.

  3. It is very difficult for me to take pictures of food sometimes. it is definitely different getting it fresh at a restaurant compared to opening up some steamed up takeout boxes. But I want to keep it real with people who follow my Instagram or those who actually read my blog, so I want to show the truth.

WHEW! I feel so much better getting that off my chest. Other than that I’m going to keep supporting small businesses and local restaurants because I believe them, their dream, AND I love their food. This is the time to learn and the time to be kind.
